Shali Bakes was found in the summer of 2021 during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Located in Mississauga, Canada, Shali Bakes is a homemade based bakery that holds both delivery and pick-up services. From cakes, cupcakes, cake-pops, and chocolate covered strawberries, Shali Bakes provides you with these services for any event!
Message from the Founder
My name is Shalikka Judemelki and I am the founder and lead baker at Shali Bakes. I have always held a passion for anything baking or cooking. Growing up I have watched and helped my mom make her tasty traditional Sri Lankan butter cake in our kitchen. That is where my love for baking started. Ever since then I have always been experimenting various recipes I come across on YouTube. The COVID-19 pandemic really pushed me to curate my love for baking into be able to provide services for others. So much love and time is always put into my creations to give people a positive experience!
